Housing101 was selected by Shell QGC as the successful tenderer to purchase and demobilise their camp known as Jordan.
As with the design and construction of a camp, considerable planning is also required to determine the most economical, safe and logistical methods to meet the schedule. Apart from the traditional dismantling of accommodation and facility buildings as well as associated walkways, the work also involved dismantling a 600 square metre Sail structure and a sophisticated waste water and water treatment plant.
Housing101 ensured that all buildings and open modules were securely protected, braced and water proofed for transport.
Because of their expertise, Housing101 was able to re-use some of the buildings and materials in similar projects. As with several camps Housing101 has built, they ensured that all buildings and connections were clearly marked, manuals and keys were identified and labelled for reuse in the future.
